The PWT is Back with Both Digital and In-Person Events!

The longest-running professional wakeboard competition the Pro Wakeboard Tour is back for 2021 with both digital and in-person events. The first "stop" in the tour is a digital qualifier that gives all wakeboarders and wakesurfers throughout the world the chance to qualify for the competition by showcasing their riding skills at their home lake behind their own boat. The top 16 riders will continue on to compete for the championship title. Returning this year is the Junior Pro Men Wakeboard Tour, which will play out alongside the Pro Men's division. In addition, the Pro Wakesurf Tour is along for the ride, too. “We are looking forward to the 2021 Pro Tour, the evolution of the online events as well as getting back to seeing these athletes compete live again, nothing beats witnessing that level of riding in person,” PWT Director Chris Bischoff told Alliance Wake. The eight highest-ranked competitors from the 2020 PWT automatically qualify for this year's tour, leaving eight spots for the best riders from the digital qualifier. Pre-qualified riders include 2020 winner Nic Rapa, Cory Teunissen and Active Water Sports rider Tyler Higham, to name a few. The Supra SA550 is the official towboat of the PWT. It's built to create clean, consistent and controlled wakes, designed to push athletes to new levels while preserving strict handling and a balanced ride for those on board. Think you've got what it takes? Stay tuned on how to register for the initial digital qualifier. 2021 PRO WAKEBOARD TOUR:
