The relationship between Active Water Sports and Liquid Force started back in 1998, marking over 20 years of doing business. Active Water Sports Owner Warren Freece and Liquid Force co-founder Tony Finn have been doing business starting with the Skurfer back in the early ’90s. We never would have dreamed how far this industry would take us over two decades later. To commemorate our time in the industry together, we’ve collaborated to bring to you, a Limited Edition AWS x LF Primo.

The Primo features a wider tail for sharper, more pivotal turns and the crisper channels offer better hold throughout your surf. Run a single center fin for the classic “skim” feel or as a “twin” with the two outer fins in for the hybrid surf feel – it’s up to you which path to take. Constructed in Liquid Force’s bomb-proof Dura-Surf construction, the 2022 Primo not only looks insane but will have your riding looking just as good.

FEATURES

+ Hybrid Style
Toss some buckets with some smooth, linked turns inspired by your favorite saltwater surfer. Traditional surf shapes have a thicker profile and a mellower rail/bevel allowing a rider to pivot a turn more from their back foot and are best ridden with either a deeper fin or multiple fins. Riders usually apply more pressure on the back half of the board and generate more force through a turn. Still very capable of doing tricks on and off the water just with a fluid like feel.

As the shape of the bottom of the board changes, water reacts differently.
